Premium Sweatshirts Online for Your New Winter Look

What comes to mind when you think about sweatshirts? A bulkier T-shirt with added fleece? Or maybe a watered-down sweater to keep you warm? Because this isn’t a statement piece. And this probably isn’t the first thing that people see either when they judge your outfit. But a good sweatshirt doesn’t need to compete for your attention, because it blends so well with the rest of the garments that it’s almost seamless. The moment you replace it with something other than a sweatshirt, your whole outfit changes drastically, and it isn’t really the same.

Most sweatshirts are poly-cotton based, but ours are made to keep you warm through and through, as they’re made from cotton fleece. A fabric that breathes well and gets softer after each wear.

If you’ve been looking for the best sweatshirts online and keep ending up with something that disappoints you after receiving it, this is what you were actually looking for. An everyday versatile piece in a relaxed fit that goes well with other items seamlessly in your wardrobe.

Sweatshirts: It’s Not Just About Keeping Warm

Most sweatshirts are sold on the premise that they’ll keep you warm, and that’s it. But a quality sweatshirt does that AND more. It fits cleaner under a jacket without that awkward bulk around your shoulders, and it retains its shape after repeated washing. It’s an easy middle layer for changing temperatures.

Cotton fleece is generally much better for true winter weather as compared to French Terry or poly-cotton blends. It has a smooth outer face with a soft, fuzzy brushed pile that traps warm air right next to your body, providing high thermal insulation.

Unisex Sweatshirts Fit Done Right

We firmly believe that fashion is for everyone, and comfort shouldn’t be limited to specific genders. A unisex premium sweatshirt offers a style based on the fit and feel that you prefer, rather than an already fixed idea of who it’s designed for.

A few things worth considering before choosing your fit:

  • Shoulder placement: A relaxed shoulder can give the sweatshirt a more laid-back appearance. It looks way better when layered with a jacket, overshirt, or a coat.
  • Body length: Most sweatshirts come in a regular length. But we’ve cropped it to modern standards for a cleaner look.
  • Layering space: We’ve kept enough space for you to layer the sweatshirts comfortably while keeping the silhouette in check.

Sweatshirts: Not A Complicated Purchase

The collection covers the full spectrum, from neutrals like Black and Marl Grey to bolder shades for people who want to capture all the attention for themselves. The reason why neutrals go well with almost everything is that they’re not trying to compete for visual attraction. Bolder colours, on the other hand are for the days when you want a casual outfit to do more than just be a casual outfit, if it makes sense.

If you’re worried about how to style it, then here are a few suggestions below:

  • Cargos or Sweatpants: The most basic and effortless combination that works well every time. Pair it with loose-fit cargo or sweatpants along with chunky sneakers for a complete look.
  • Baggy Trousers: This styling makes you look sophisticated and could also be worn at your office.
  • Layered over/under: You can always choose to layer it from the inside or outside. Wearing a shirt underneath and then the sweatshirt will make your outfit look more unique. However, layering it with a shacket or jacket over it will get you the benefit of warmth when the weather’s too cold to handle.

FAQs

What’s the difference between a sweatshirt and a sweater?

The difference is in the fabric construction. A sweater, in general, is made from knitted yarn of wool, cashmere, merino, cotton, or synthetic blends. Meanwhile, a sweatshirt is made from woven fabric such as cotton fleece, French terry, or cotton-poly blends. Sweaters are more appropriate for formal settings, and a good sweater that keeps you warm all day can be quite expensive, whereas sweatshirts sit firmly in the casual category.

Do sweatshirts shrink in the wash?

Yes, they do, and it’s one of the most common sweatshirt complaints. But they only shrink by 3-5% after washing, depending on the fabric composition. 100% cotton sweatshirts are more prone to shrinkage than the poly-blended ones. Pre-shrunk garments have already undergone this process, and they shrink far less after each wash. However, you still must use precautions while washing your sweatshirts, such as using cold water only, avoiding tumble drying on high heat, and laying them flat to preserve their shape.

What’s the guide to keep the sweatshirt soft throughout?

Softness in sweatshirts is almost always lost due to heat and using harsh detergents. Wash them inside out in cold water, and use liquid detergent rather than powder, as it may leave some residue. High heat is the single biggest cause of a sweatshirt going rough or stiff. Therefore, avoid tumble drying at all costs!

Can you wear a sweatshirt in the office?

In our office, yes, but in others, we’re not sure! It depends on the dress code. Some workplaces have shifted to a more relaxed attire post-2020, and many companies do allow business-casual wear. Sweatshirts are pretty simple to style; you can layer them with a structured blazer or put on a long coat over one. However, avoid heavily branded or graphic styles at all costs for your office attire.

What’s the best fabric for a sweatshirt?

It kinda depends on your priority. If you need to replicate the feeling of a woolen sweater without spending too much, then 100% cotton fleece should be your go-to choice. Cotton-poly blends (80/20 or 50/50) are cheaper but the most popular, as they’re available in abundance. Because of polyester, it shrinks way less without losing its shape. French-terry sweatshirts are lighter and are better suited for Autumn or layering purposes. Then there are 100% polyester ones that we personally won’t recommend, as they’re not breathable against the skin at all. So, the best fabric depends on your use case and personal needs.
